Overview

As Medical Affairs Sr. Manager, you will act as Country Medical Lead, collaborating with country leadership to shape the commercial strategy through surgical insights and local healthcare knowledge. You will identify key unmet needs and drive early evidence-generation efforts to support market access and adoption. The role balances strategic input with hands-on medical and scientific support to DePuy Synthes products. You will work with cross-functional teams to advance the country’s innovation agenda and stakeholder partnerships.

Responsabilità

  • Understand and map the needs of clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to drive business initiatives and build external relationships with strategic accounts, hospitals, regulatory bodies, and medical societies
  • Develop partnerships with key opinion leaders and externally with customers to support core business areas
  • Monitor competitive activity and identify strategic partnerships to sustain growth
  • Ensure evidence for products is appropriate and sufficient for regulatory, HTA, reimbursement, access, and post-marketing needs, and communicate it effectively
  • Review and approve medical, scientific, promotional, and market access materials for country/region
  • Shape the global innovation agenda by providing country insights on unmet needs and healthcare trends
  • Contribute to evidence plans and identify opportunities for evidence generation and data sharing with early adopters
  • Support evidence dissemination and drive implementation of scientific and medical activities to enable surgical expertise and business initiatives

Requisiti fondamentali

  • MD/PhD required
  • 5–10 years of related experience in postgraduate medical education, specialty surgical training, clinical practice, and/or industry R&D in a highly regulated pharma/medical device setting
  • High emotional intelligence
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills for internal and external interactions
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to execute to drive innovation and growth
  • Ability to influence executive stakeholders and deliver value-based solutions
  • Expertise and business acumen in a surgical field or medical device industry
  • Leadership capabilities aligned with company imperatives and Credo values
