Overview
In this Medical Affairs role, you support intraocular lens proctoring and medical information requests to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You analyze IOL case data, coordinate MIR responses, and generate performance insights in alignment with J&J Vision policies. You work cross-functionally to optimize clinical workflows and post-operative results across multiple sites. This position offers regional travel and collaboration with R&D, safety, marketing, and clinical teams to support new products and clinical studies.
Responsabilità
- IOL case analysis and calculation focused on PCIOLs within approved training and calculation processes
- Manage MIR by delivering clinical responses and HCP guidance per J&J Vision policies within <4>
- Generate MIR statistics reports to monitor clinical performance with product safety, marketing, R&D, and commercial teams
- Assist HCPs with postoperative outcomes analysis, providing optimization and problem-solving for sub-optimal results
- Provide clinical expert level support to external/internal J&J customers with emphasis on NPIs (New Product Introduction)
- Support demos and clinical studies as required
Requisiti fondamentali
- Degree in Optometry or similar ophthalmology education
- Min. 5 years of clinical and surgical ophthalmic experience
- 2–4 years of practical clinical environment experience (ophthalmic centers/hospitals)
- IOL subject matter expertise and strong product knowledge
- Excellent presentation and communication skills to decision makers
- Strong problem-solving and analytics abilities; service-oriented
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; flexible with scheduling
- Training/teaching experience preferred
- Fluent English and French required; Italian valued
