Overview
In this role you drive scientific and clinical input for hematology-oncology projects at IQVIA, guiding proposals, clinical development plans, and lifecycle support as an internal SME. You engage early with clients, contribute to bid discussions, and support thought leadership and scientific dissemination. You work with cross-functional teams to align medical strategy with business goals and stay abreast of latest oncologic advances. This position offers impact across development stages and client engagements within a global services context.
Responsabilità
- Provide scientific and clinical guidance for proposals, including protocol design, development plans, mechanism of action insights, and feasibility assessments
- Support client meetings, early engagement, bid defense, and governance discussions to advance IQVIA goals
- Mentor and prepare project teams to align execution with medical understanding and strategic considerations
- Stay current with hematology and oncology literature to inform project work
- Collaborate with Business Development, Operations, and other centers of excellence to integrate medical strategy across the organization
- Act as internal and external consultant across R&D lifecycle and clinical trials to guide sponsors and project teams
- Advise sponsors on clinical development and scientific rationale to address clinical questions and optimize study design
- Provide clinical and scientific expertise to ensure regulatory soundness and feasibility of study protocols
- Identify target sites and investigator profiles, anticipated recruitment, and standards of care within competitive landscapes
- Support governance and post-award transition activities to sustain project relevance and impact
Requisiti fondamentali
- MD in Oncology with hematology training (solid tumor experience is a plus)
- Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience
- At least 3 years outside training period in biopharmaceutical industry
- Practical knowledge of leading and managing R&D processes and projects
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Innovative and strategic thinker
