Overview
As an SRE Specialist with a development focus, you partner with software teams to bake reliability, scalability, and observability into products from design. You will govern SLOs/SLIs and enforce quality gates in CI/CD, acting as a quality gate and strategic advisor. You’ll lead post-incident learning, design chaos testing, and drive toil reduction to improve developer efficiency. This role shapes resilient software delivery within a modern cloud-native stack at ING. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to elevate engineering practices and product reliability.

Responsabilità
- Define and enforce SLOs/SLIs and error budgets across development teams
- Collaborate with software architects to ensure reliability, scalability, and security in designs
- Set up and uphold quality gates in CI/CD to prevent production deployment without reliability criteria
- Oversee post-mortems and drive bug fixes and architectural improvements
- Design chaos engineering scenarios and game days to validate resilience
- Analyze development workflows to identify inefficiencies and guide automation efforts
Requisiti fondamentali
- 4+ years in Software Engineering, SRE, or Technical Product Management with SDLC knowledge
- Distributed systems architecture and cloud-native patterns (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Experience establishing SLOs/SLIs, error budgets, and continuous improvement frameworks
- Observability experience (Prometheus, Datadog, OpenTelemetry) to review health metrics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills; ability to influence engineering practices and mentor without authority
