Overview
As a Mechanical Designer at IMA BFB, you will shape end-of-line packaging solutions for pharma, cosmetics, and food sectors. You’ll translate customer specs into robust layouts, assemblies, and components while adhering to regulatory and project timeliness. You’ll work cross-functionally to refine safety and production docs, supporting pre- and after-sales activities. This role offers impact on product performance and works within a multinational, innovation-driven environment.

Responsabilità
- Define machine or plant layouts and design components and assemblies
- Develop mechanical aspects of new functions based on regulatory requirements and customer specs
- Ensure designs meet project timelines and cost targets
- Prepare and update BOMs for production launch
- Evaluate manufacturing processes, tolerances, and treatments for component performance
- Contribute to safety requirements and participate in risk assessments
- Maintain and update technical project documentation (specs, drawings, BOMs, archiving, assembly docs)
- Assist in machine technical file preparation and testing protocols with Documentation Department
- Participate in testing and trials of new assemblies or functionalities
- Interface with production, quality, R&D and other departments throughout the project lifecycle
- Provide support to pre-sales, after-sales, and marketing activities when required
Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a Mechanical Technical Diploma (or equivalent)
- Approximately 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Designer
- Experience in technical design offices, preferably in automatic machinery, industrial automation, primary packaging, or manufacturing
- Proficiency in parametric 3D CAD software
- Ability to manage technical project documentation
- Working knowledge of the English language
- Strong interpersonal skills
