We are looking for an Engineer – Renewables & Data Centers to join our Engineering team in Turin, Italy.

This is an exciting opportunity to work across two fast-growing sectors — Data Centers and Renewable Energy / Self-Consumption — and contribute to the development of complex projects from the earliest stages of site assessment and concept design through permitting, grid connection and technical coordination.

What will you do?

• Support site selection and test-fit activities, including preliminary technical assessments and site layouts.

• Contribute to MEP concept design, including MV/LV electrical systems, UPS, generators and cooling systems.

• Review and coordinate technical design deliverables, working with internal and external engineering teams.

• Prepare technical documentation to support permitting and authorization processes.

• Work closely with grid connection specialists to align engineering solutions with HV/MV connection requirements.

• Support the definition of technical requirements for commissioning and operations.

• Manage relevant Terna platforms and grid connection requests.

• Contribute to project documentation and the development of internal Data Center design standards and guidelines.

What are we looking for?

• Degree in Electrical, Energy, Mechanical, Civil or Building Engineering, or a similar technical discipline.

1–3 years of experience in engineering design or technical coordination of complex systems.

• Ability to read and produce CAD layouts and technical diagrams using AutoCAD or equivalent software.

• Good command of written and spoken English.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and willingness to learn.

• Availability to travel within Italy and a valid driving licence.

• Previous professional experience in Italy.

Additional qualifications

• Experience in Data Centers, MEP engineering or large-scale energy infrastructure.

• Knowledge of mission-critical systems such as UPS, generators, MV/LV systems, chillers and CRAH/CRAC systems.

• Familiarity with PUE, energy efficiency and free cooling.

• Knowledge of Italian permitting processes and safety/fire prevention regulations.

• Experience working with engineering firms, EPC contractors or general contractors.

• Registration with the Italian Order of Engineers.

• Knowledge of Revit, Navisworks and/or Bluebeam Revu.

Spanish language skills would be an advantage.
