In this role you will lead civil activities for Grid Integration projects, coordinating with tendering and project engineering teams to ensure robust design and execution. You will support tender deliverables with documentation, estimates, and risk assessments, then help manage changes and claims during projects to sustain customer satisfaction. You’ll collaborate with engineers to share best practices, uphold safety, integrity, and quality, and improve processes across bid and project phases. You’ll engage customers as a trusted technical partner, clarify requirements, and ensure compliance with codes and Hitachi Energy QHSE standards. Responsabilità
- Lead and coordinate civil activities for Grid Integration projects (AIS/GIS HV Substations and Power Plants) and collaborate with tendering and project engineering teams
- Support tender phase deliverables with documentation, engineering estimates, and risk assessments
- Assist project team with claims related to civil scope changes, evaluating cost, schedule, and risk impacts
- Share best practices with engineering colleagues and uphold safety, integrity, and quality across bid and project processes
- Engage customers as a technical partner, clarifying requirements and capturing lessons learned
- Prepare and review technical specifications and validate equipment
- Review static/dynamic verifications for steel and concrete construction
- Assess execution plans for concrete reinforcement and steel construction
- Draft and evaluate specifications and participate in subcontractor contract drafting
- Ensure CEI/IEC, Euro Code, Italian building code NTC2018, and grid code compliance; uphold QHSE requirements
Requisiti fondamentali
- 5–8 years of relevant civil design and project management experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Knowledge of Eurocode and other relevant regulations
- Proficiency in CAD and BIM tools
- Knowledge of building law is advantageous
- Strong teamwork, learning ability, and safety commitment
- Proficiency in English and Italian (mandatory); additional languages beneficial
- Professional engineer licensed with a professional association is a plus
