Overview
In this role you drive the construction phase of oil & gas projects, coordinating field activities and ensuring timely, economical delivery. You work with contractors, the owner's team, and design partners to resolve issues and maintain schedule integrity. You’ll lead on-site quality oversight, progress meetings, and change management, shaping the project from concept through commissioning. This position offers responsibility across offshore/onshore platforms and pipelines within a client-focused, lifecycle-driven firm.
Responsabilità
- Manage construction processes from conceptual to final handover on time and budget
- Coordinate and supervise on-site contractors and QC/QA staff
- Collaborate with the owner's representative and resolve field issues with A/E
- Lead weekly progress and coordination meetings
- Assist in CPM schedule updates and baseline/change control
- Support in answering correspondence and reviewing changes
- Develop and manage Integrated Schedule and risk management plans
- Oversee field activities coordination and project closeout/commissioning
Requisiti fondamentali
- Eight years of post-degree experience in the discipline
- Significant oil & gas experience on both onshore and offshore projects (platforms)
- Experience with construction phase on-site, not limited to FEED
- Proficient English speaking and written reporting skills
- Strong communication skills
- Leadership and coordination
- Problem-solving and decision-making
- CPM scheduling updates
- Baseline management and Change Control
- QA/QC oversight on-site
