What you’ll do

Our Consulting Associate Directors are responsible for high-level project delivery and oversight along with client relationship management.

You will manage teams, and advise clients at the highest strategic level on both big‑picture and tactical matters, focusing on how technology enables a wide range of business outcomes.

• What you’ll need
• Experience within a well‑regarded management consultancy in a project delivery capacity
• Experience across a range of IT Infrastructure topics such as Infrastructure strategy
• Infrastructure transformation programs
• Cloud architecture incl. DC topology (e. g. related to Edge) as well as Hybrid architecture (combining cloud and on prem)
• Knowledge and experience of scalable, secure, and cost‑effective IT infrastructure solutions, integrating on‑premise hardware with cloud platforms
• Data centre migration strategy and programs
• Infrastructure as a Code patterns and adoption programs
• ITSM, IT Services and Operations expertise, ITIL, Dev Sec Ops, Fin Ops
• Architecture/infrastructure modernization experience (e. g. moving from mainframe to digital architecture)
• Evaluation of current IT networks, servers, and cloud environments, comparing them against long‑term business objectives
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and the ability to assist in the creative development of solutions and strategies to solve client problems
• An ability to be hands‑on and to manage multiple client priorities simultaneously
• MBA or other advanced degree preferred
• Consulting Experience: Experience within a well‑regarded management consultancy in a project delivery capacity.
• Prior experience in a problem‑solving capacity such as a solution/technical architect or analyst preferred
• A consistent track record of leading people and building high‑performing teams that leverage technology to drive the mission‑critical priorities of commercial or government entities
• An ability to inspire and motivate professionals from both technical and non‑technical backgrounds towards a common goal
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and the creative development of solutions and strategies to solve client problems.
• Must adapt Gartner frameworks and methodologies to strike at the heart of a client’s most pressing business challenges
• Excellence in written and verbal communication
• Expertise with strategic consulting frameworks
• Building rapid proto‑types for presentations / sales proposals
• Excellent people skills and customer relationship track record; Experience in developing client business relationships as part of a commercial organisation

• Hands‑on and leadership involvement in cloud architecture, application delivery, data center, network, security, and IT service delivery
• Adventures business transformation, cloud migration, digital adoption, delivery, and implementation projects
• Development of cloud, hybrid, multi‑cloud, data center, and application deployment strategies
• Cloud infrastructure ownership of security, cost, energy, operations, reliability, and cost reduction opportunities
• Mentoring leader with a talent like culture of individuals in visibility about variety of solutions, agility, automation, scaling, and monitoring for the collaborative environment
• Data center and Unified data center migrations
• Infrastructure identification and transformation use cases to finance control system approach to scenario control system
• Provisioning, virtualization, containers, repository forces, deployment containers systems.

Gartner is committed to fair and equitable pay.

The estimated target income pay for this role is 74,000 EUR to 84,000 EUR in Italy.

Target income includes base pay and variable earning potential.

Employees participate in either a bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a role‑based, uncapped sales incentive plan.

Pay and earnings vary based on several factors including but not limited to, performance, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
