About the Role
We are looking for a new team member to join our Purchasing Department in Bologna with a focus on sourcing custom-designed components (HNB, Maker).
The selected candidate will manage the procurement process, supporting supplier selection, request for quotations, commercial negotiations, and purchase order management.
Main responsibilities include:
- Analyze internal purchasing needs and manage requests;
- Research and select suppliers;
- Request and evaluate commercial offers;
- Negotiate prices and purchasing conditions;
- Issue purchase orders and monitor deliveries;
- Verify documentation and support the supplier accounting process;
- Collaborate with warehouse and quality teams for material inspections;
- Maintain supplier relationships and evaluate performance.
What You Need to Be Successful
- Diploma or Degree (preferably in a technical field as Mechanical, Automation or Automotive Engineering);
- Between 5 and 7 years of previous experience in purchasing, focusing on mechanical components;
- Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems;
- Proficiency in English, both written and oral;
- Strong organizational and negotiation skills, results-oriented and teamwork capabilities;
- Willingness to travel upon request (10% of the time).
Our Offer
Compensation for this role includes a base salary starting from EUR 44.400, in line with experience. The actual offer may exceed this minimum based on the candidate’s qualifications and fit for the role.
A range of additional benefits (e.g., insurances, etc.) is also available in accordance with Company policy.
The applicable collective agreement is the CCNL Metalmeccanico.
