We are looking for a Junior UX Designer to join our team in Pavia.

Responsibilities
As a Junior UX Designer, you will own the design dimension of our product from early-stage analysis to polished interfaces, working closely with developers and the Product Owner.
- Your core focus will be on
- UX Design: Ideate and create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to explore and communicate design ideas.
Define information architecture, interaction patterns, and visual hierarchy that make our product intuitive and delightful to use.
- User Research & Testing: Plan and conduct research and tests, analyze user feedback, and translate findings into concrete design and product choices.
Use data from Firebase and Google Analytics to validate design decisions.
- Product Collaboration & Analysis: Work with the Product Owner and engineering team to ensure designs are understood and faithfully implemented.
Contribute to feature analysis by describing functionality, evaluating user feedback, and advocating for the end-user perspective throughout the development cycle.

How we work
Our two-week sprints involve defining product requirements through design sprints, closely following the development cycle across multiple platforms.
We embrace an empirical approach to product definitions, we iterate over problems, experiment with A/B testing, prototyping, spikes, and measure the impact on end-users.
Our continuous improvement cycle includes gathering real-world feedback through data analysis (Firebase and Google Analytics), resulting in iterative store releases.
Our application is utilized by hundreds of thousands of people globally, spanning diverse countries and cultures.
- Passion for UX design, interface craft, and creating products people genuinely enjoy using
- Curiosity for product analysis: understanding how features work, why users behave the way they do, and how to improve the experience
- Curiosity for user research and data-driven design decisions
- Smart and proactive attitude
- Good level of English (you will work in an international team)
- Deep familiarity with digital products, mobile and desktop apps
- Bonus Points
- A portfolio or examples of design work: mockups, wireframes, or prototypes
- UX design experience using Figma or similar tools
- Skills in copywriting or UX writing
- Some level of experience with data analysis tools such as Firebase

This is a fixed-term contract position (maternity leave replacement).
This role is based in our Pavia office in Italy, where you'll collaborate with colleagues from Portugal, Ukraine, Germany, and the USA, fostering a daily experience of diverse and multicultural interactions.
