Overview
In this role you define and deliver end-to-end merchant acquiring and payment solutions for banks, fintechs, payment service providers and merchants. You act as the solution authority across client engagements, guiding strategic and functional aspects to enable scalable, secure, and commercially viable payments. You will lead architecture conversations, operating models, and align client requirements with platform capabilities and roadmaps. You influence transformation programs and market expansion while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This position offers impact at a global scale within Fiserv’s payments ecosystem.
Responsabilità
- Own end-to-end merchant acquiring solutions across the project lifecycle
- Lead solution architecture discussions and define target-state operating models
- Evaluate client requirements and align with platform capabilities and roadmaps
- Design scalable solutions for merchant acquiring, payment gateways, authorization & switching, settlement, pricing & billing, reconciliation & reporting, fraud management, digital commerce & value-added services
- Ensure compliance with card scheme, regulatory, security, and operational requirements
- Act as trusted advisor for strategic client engagements
- Lead client workshops, solution reviews, and executive presentations
- Provide consultative guidance on acquiring transformation, modernization, migration, and market expansion initiatives
- Present options, risks, assumptions, and recommendations to client leadership teams
Requisiti fondamentali
- Extensive SME functional knowledge in Merchant Acquiring Solutions (gateway, authorization switches, scheme clearing & settlements, merchant pricing, interchange and scheme fees, financial reconciliations)
- Analytical skills and understanding of industry metrics and trends
- 10+ years of experience in Payments, Banking Technology, or Merchant Acquiring
- 5+ years in Solution Architecture, Solution Consulting, or Solution Leadership roles
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex acquiring or payment transformation programs
- Strong customer-facing consulting experience with financial institutions or payment providers
