Overview

In this Global Senior Toxicologist role, you will act as the Group SME for toxicological food safety risks across the value chain, reporting to the Food Safety & Product Integrity Manager. You’ll monitor scientific, regulatory, and technical shifts in chemical safety and apply horizon-scanning to inform decisions. You will drive risk anticipation and implement state-of-the-art toxicology methods to enable science-based risk assessments. You’ll build external scientific networks, shape global engagement in Food Safety, and develop internal capabilities through training and tools.

Responsabilità

  • Monitor external evolutions in chemical Food Safety and apply horizon-scanning practices
  • Lead risk anticipation from identification to mitigation with cross-functional involvement
  • Develop and implement advanced toxicological assessment methodologies
  • Support product design, sourcing, and manufacturing through risk assessments
  • Collaborate across functions to provide toxicology input throughout product life cycle
  • Build and maintain an external scientific network and partnerships
  • Contribute to a global scientific engagement strategy and advisory board
  • Represent the Group in international Food Safety events and organizations
  • Develop internal capabilities with trainings, methods, and tools

Requisiti fondamentali

  • 8+ years of experience in Quality/Food Safety/Chemical Safety/Risk Management roles
  • Solid knowledge of the Food sector and experience in multinational companies
  • Fluent in English with strong communication across diverse teams
