Opportunity

We are looking for a HSE Specialist to join our Health, Safety & Environment Team.

In this role, you will contribute to ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, supporting the continuous improvement of workplace safety standards and fostering a strong safety culture across the organization.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • HSE Specialist & ASPP Activities: Coordinate prevention and protection activities, supporting the company in ensuring compliance with Legislative Decree 81⁄2008 and related regulations.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain and update HSE documentation, including risk assessments (DVR) and other mandatory records.
  • Training Management: Coordinate mandatory HSE training programs in compliance with current legislation (Legislative Decree 81⁄2008 and State-Regions Agreements), working closely with external partners for training delivery and periodic updates.
  • Health Surveillance Management: Support occupational health surveillance activities, collaborating with the Occupational Physician (Medico Competente) in planning and monitoring medical examinations.
  • Audits & Compliance Monitoring: Conduct internal audits and regular inspections to verify compliance with legal requirements, company procedures, and HSE management systems.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with different departments to promote and integrate safety best practices throughout the organization.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support the development and implementation of initiatives aimed at improving workplace health, safety, and environmental performance.

To be successful in this role you’ll need to have:

  • Degree in Engineering or related fields.
  • Qualification as Prevention and Protection Service Officer (ASPP/RSPP Modules A, B and C).
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar HSE role, preferably within structured manufacturing organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of Italian health and safety legislation (Legislative Decree 81⁄2008) and related regulatory frameworks.
  • Good knowledge of HSE management systems according to ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Experience in risk assessment and hazard identification processes.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach and leadership attitude.

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience in multinational or industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of environmental compliance processes and sustainability-related initiatives.
  • Good command of English.
