We are looking for a

Solution Proposal Engineer to join our Solutions Business Center Europe team.

The Solution Business Center is a regional team with team members located in different European countries and supporting customers throughout Europe and Central Asia.

The current position is based in

Cernusco sul Naviglio (MI) , Italy.

The candidate will bridge technical understanding with commercial strategy to help secure project wins and build long-term customer relationships.

What is the role about?

The

Solution Proposal Engineer plays a critical role in supporting the sales process by developing technically sound, cost-effective, and customer-focused proposals for engineered solutions.

Working closely with the Solution Architect, external sales teams and cross-functional departments, this role ensures timely and accurate preparation of project proposals that align with customer requirements and Endress+Hauser’s solution offerings.

The main activities will include

• Collaborate with External Sales Engineers, Solution Pursuit Managers and Solution Architects, to develop tailored solution proposals for customers.
• Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals for systems, packages, and services based on Endress+Hauser products and third-party components.
• Engage directly with customers to understand their processes, gather requirements, and define project scopes.
• Coordinate with internal teams including Engineering, Service, Logistics, and Controlling to gather input for proposals.
• Provide technical support during the sales cycle, including proposal follow-up, negotiations, and order closure.
• Verify customer purchase orders and ensure accurate conversion into sales orders for processing.
• Conduct cost analysis, develop value-added propositions, and ensure proposal accuracy and competitiveness.

What do we expect from you?

• Strong technical knowledge in engineering disciplines (e. g., mechanical, electrical, automation).
• Proficient in E+H Tools, SFDC and proposal development tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Professional proficiency in English (spoken and written) for an optimal collaboration with international colleagues and customers.
