Overview
In this role you support Dow Mozzanica’s plant operations by applying engineering expertise to resolve issues, optimize performance, and ensure safe, efficient production of high-quality products. You will stay close to the field, drive corrective actions, and contribute to EHS and process safety culture within a collaborative, cross-functional environment. This position offers hands-on problem solving at scale and a pathway to lead impactful improvements in a global, sustainability-focused organization.

Responsabilità
- Support daily operations with technical and problem-solving skills
- Maintain a strong field presence to promote safe, reliable, and compliant operations
- Act as technical reference during unplanned events and drive corrective and preventive actions
- Analyze operational, quality, and logistics data (KPIs, asset utilization, trends) to validate results and identify improvements
- Collaborate with SMEs on advanced troubleshooting and implement optimized technical solutions
- Prioritize corrective actions to close Operational Performance Gaps (utilization, yield, uptime, quality, operating discipline losses)
- Lead and support capital and non-capital projects (expense and continuous improvement)
- Provide leadership during plant maintenance, unplanned events, commissioning, start-up, and project handover
Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Materials Science
- 0 to 3 years of experience
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Strong ownership and initiative
- Data-driven decision making
- Effective communication, influence, and stakeholder alignment
- Data analysis of KPIs and trends
- Advanced troubleshooting with cross-functional collaboration
- EHS and Process Safety culture awareness
