Overview
In this role you will fortify Deel’s cloud and software security as part of a cross-functional DevOps team. You will build automated security tooling, secure infrastructure, and monitoring to protect our global platform. You’ll ensure compliance, work with engineers to bake security into development, and help scale secure operations across multiple regions. Responsabilità
- Develop and maintain automated security tools and processes in CI/CD to identify vulnerabilities and conduct security testing
- Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure, access controls, encryption, and monitoring with infrastructure teams
- Implement continuous security monitoring, log analysis, IDS, and anomaly detection
- Foster collaboration between development, operations, and security teams ensuring security is embedded in the development process
- Assist in compliance assessments and audits, providing documentation and evidence of controls
Requisiti fondamentali
- 3+ years in Security, SecOps, or DevSecOps roles
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure misconfigurations and IaC security scanning tools (Checkov, tfsec, Terrascan)
- Basic programming skills (JavaScript, TypeScript, Python); Git and CI/CD experience
- Manage and tune WAF/firewall configs (Cloudflare or equivalent)
- Knowledge of security principles, OWASP Top 10, encryption, authentication, access control, and testing
- Proficiency with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, configuration management, and monitoring/observability
- Ability to assess risk, threat modeling, vulnerability management, and incident response planning
- Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate security into development
- Security automation tools and scanners (SAST/DAST) familiarity
