We are seeking a talented Product Management & Catalog Manager to join our team at Dayco in Burolo (TO).
Summary of the Position
The Product Management & Catalog Manager is responsible for leading and empowering Product Management and Catalog to deliver strategic execution, product profitability, and accurate, customer‑focused catalog data.
This role ensures seamless integration between product strategy and catalog accuracy, enabling sales growth, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Strategic Execution & Leadership
- Translate organizational objectives into actionable product and marketing strategies that drive revenue growth and market leadership.
- Lead, mentor, and develop Product Managers and Catalog Analysts, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement through clear goals and performance expectations.
- Encourage cross‑functional collaboration with sales, marketing, operations, and global COE teams.
- Promote knowledge sharing and best practices across regions and functions.
- Product Management Oversight
- Guide Product Managers in aligning product strategies with organizational objectives and market requirements.
- Oversee product lifecycle management from concept to launch and post‑launch optimization.
- Ensure product roadmaps are executed effectively, addressing underperformance and identifying growth opportunities.
- Support customer engagement through product training, insights, and performance analysis.
- Catalog Management Oversight
- Direct Catalog Analysts in maintaining accurate, comprehensive, and customer‑friendly product catalog data.
- Ensure catalog content supports sales, marketing, and customer experience initiatives.
- Oversee catalog updates related to product launches, lifecycle changes, and market adaptations.
- Drive improvements in catalog systems, processes, and data governance in collaboration with global COE.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Act as a key liaison between product management, catalog teams, and other business units.
- Participate in monthly BU/COE meetings to review KPIs, action plans, and opportunities.
- Communicate product and catalog strategies clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
- Governance & Resource Management
- Establish clear performance metrics and ensure teams are equipped with the tools and resources to succeed.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product offerings and catalog accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, legal requirements, and company policies.
- Requirement & Skills
- Minimum 5/6 years of experience in a Marketing/Product Department.
- Product Management experience within both the Heavy Duty and Light Vehicle markets.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of French and Spanish is a plus.
- A creative thinker who ‘Acts Like an Owner’ and has a continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) to support proposals, reporting, and presentations.
- Ability to empower and develop team to achieve results.
- Decisive and accountable in a dynamic and complex environment.
- Ability to optimize budget and resources effectively and communicate and collaborate with sales teams and other stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret large data sets to solve issues, assess trends, find opportunities, and support data‑driven decisions.
- Proficiency in the monitoring of KPIs.
- Technical knowledge and proficiency in relevant areas (e. g., engineering concepts, data analysis).
- Adaptable and proactive in a changing and dynamic environment.
