The Project Manager role at Crazy Pizza

As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in the strategic planning and coordination of all activities required to ensure the timely opening of our new restaurants worldwide.

The role will be responsible for coordinating the opening of new locations, managing day-to-day project activities, implementing Project Management policies and procedures, and working closely with department leaders to successfully plan and deliver new restaurant openings.

Project Manager Responsibilities

• Partner with department leaders to strategically define, prioritize and develop projects for the opening of new Crazy Pizza restaurants worldwide.
• Lead project planning and execution by defining timelines and deadlines, setting priorities and ensuring smooth and timely restaurant openings.
• Manage the financial aspects of projects, including budget monitoring, risk assessment and resource allocation.
• Prepare financial reports and budget summaries for Management and Executive teams, providing clear visibility on project performance and financial status.
• Coordinate the development and implementation of new restaurant opening projects, ensuring that all activities and deliverables are completed within the agreed timelines.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate project progress, ensuring compliance with company standards, approved budgets and agreed timelines, including through frequent on-site visits.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation throughout all project phases, from initiation to completion, including scope, budget and the strategic rationale behind key project decisions.
• Oversee the progress of construction works and sites related to new restaurant openings, coordinating with suppliers, partners and internal stakeholders involved in the project.
• Coordinate supplier orders for the procurement of materials, equipment and supplies required for the construction, set-up and operation of new restaurants.
• Ensure a constant on-site presence throughout key project phases, directly monitoring progress and taking timely action in the event of issues, delays or deviations from the agreed project plan.

Who are you?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Hospitality Management, Project Management or a related field.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is considered a plus.
• At least 3 years of experience in the Hospitality, Restaurant or Project Management sector, preferably with experience in new openings and location development.
• Fluent English is essential; knowledge of Italian is highly advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, leadership and prioritization skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Willingness to travel frequently, both nationally and internationally, to directly oversee project and construction site progress.
