We are looking for a Strategic Procurement Officer in Milan/Hybrid

Job Summary

As Strategic Procurement Officer, you will join our Procurement team! In this role you will have the opportunity to join a young and collaborative team. You will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies, managing strategic suppliers, and delivering value through scale, standardization, and optimization of procurement activities. The role operates between regional and global layers, ensuring that procurement moves beyond transactional execution to structured value creation and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement category strategies
• Establish and manage framework agreements
• Lead sourcing and negotiations for projects above defined thresholds (>100k USD)
• Manage Tier 1 suppliers and strategic relationships
• Conduct supplier market analysis and benchmarking
• Standardize contracts and procurement approaches
• Identify cross-region synergies and aggregation opportunities
• Support operational teams with strategic sourcing input
• Prepare documentation packages for execution by Operational Procurement
• Contribute to COMCOM memos and strategic decision-making

Accountabilities:

• Delivery of category savings targets
• Framework agreement coverage
• Supplier risk mitigation
• Contract compliance and standardization
• Strategic sourcing effectiveness

Qualifications and Skills

Your profile is a natural match if you have:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain
• 3–5 years of procurement experience;
• Experience in O&M of Renewable assets (BESS, PV, Wind) will be considered a strong advantage
• Experience in category management and strategic sourcing
• Skills: Strong analytical and commercial skills
• English proficiency
