Overview
In this role you help minimize supply chain costs by optimizing planning processes across the European network. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to align planning with budgets and service targets, using advanced tools to forecast demand and manage stock. You’ll drive optimization initiatives, improve inventory efficiency, and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making. Responsabilità
- Analyze stock levels and manage inventory to prevent overstocks while meeting demand
- Monitor plant and manufacturer stock to optimize capacity, reduce costs, and ensure rotation
- Forecast demand using SAP, JDA, and Excel; predict future needs
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and Commercial teams to align goals with budgets and SLAs
- Develop and update optimization tools to streamline planning and cut unnecessary movements
- Prepare and present reports on stock, forecasts, and performance for data-driven decisions
- Coordinate production planning and logistics to balance demand with safety stock
- Lead initiatives to prevent overstocking and improve storage, rotation, and transport plans
- Develop production and transportation plans using SCM techniques for high service at low cost
- Identify relocation flows for master planning; forecast flows and stocks with IT tools
- Produce optimal network location and capacity; create contingency and scenario planning
- Contribute to S&OP processes and track outcomes to forecast demand and variances
- Complete ad hoc analyses and identify cost-saving opportunities across the network
Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor in Engineering or equivalent experience in SCM Planning Analysis
- Minimum 3 years in Supply Chain Management in a manufacturing environment
- Advanced experience with SCM tools (JDA Manug., SAP APO) or equivalents
- Experience with S&OP and sales forecasting and demand planning
- Language: Italian, English
- Strong Excel skills; SAP (ERP + BW/BI); JDA; Power BI; Power Query
