Overview
In this role you ensure smooth material flow in the warehouse supporting production and assembly. You will work closely with ERP systems to pick, kit, move, and store materials, while maintaining accuracy and safety. You help sustain efficient production lines and inventory integrity in a disciplined, safety‑conscious environment. This position offers hands‑on logistics experience within a historic, global industrial group.
Responsabilità
- Pick materials according to ERP picking lists
- Prepare component kits for production and assembly
- Move materials and components using pallet trucks and forklifts
- Perform quantitative and qualitative checks on picked materials
- Supply production lines and assembly areas with required materials
- Ensure correct storage and location of materials
- Support loading and unloading operations
- Assist with periodic inventory counts and stock accuracy checks
- Use barcode scanners and IT systems to record movements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Requisiti fondamentali
- At least 2 years in picking, warehouse operations, or industrial logistics
- Experience with core warehouse processes (goods receipt, storage, picking, material handling)
- Experience using IT systems to manage material movements and warehouse transactions
- Ability to read/interpret picking lists, item codes, and warehouse locations
- Experience operating manual and electric pallet trucks
- Valid forklift operator license/certification
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP knowledge is a plus)
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations for warehouse operations
