What you will do

The Supplier Risk Management Engineer will lead the worldwide supplier risk management and integrate risk management into the management processes of the organization and ensure uniform and smooth processes. SRME will analyze, evaluate and monitor the supplier's portfolio in an international context to proactively minimize and making sure our risk exposure remains minimal.

Activities and Areas of Responsibility

  • Check the supplier’s Financial, Economic, Quality and logistic Risks.
  • Reported supplier risk and feedback on reporting strategy
  • Support in defining the mitigation action together with shareholders.
  • Check the supplier’s performance indicators, to facilitate and ensure the supply base’s ability to consistently meet or exceed defined target.
  • To prepare and improve regulations and procedures in order to ensure that risk analysis and evaluation are carried out within the corporate strategy and policies and to prepare and implement mitigation plan.
  • Perform regular follow-up on mitigation topics related to risks.
  • Develop and maintain strong and positive relationships with Suppliers and work closely with Procurement to manage, implement improvements, capacity studies and future bottlenecks.
  • Assist with (new/current) product launches by working with (current/new) suppliers to ensure that key milestones are in risk or not.

What you need to succeedREQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCES

  • Bachelor’s, master’s degree business, engineering, finance, or a comparable field.
  • Experience in supplier management and/or supplier development and have already gained management experience in a global role.
  • Common MS Office applications knowledge ISO 9001-2015 certification, IATF 16949 preferred Experience with supplier evaluations and auditing.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, presentation, and database tools, Ability to compile data and analyzes data results-based performance KPI's.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a multi-discipline and international environment.
  • Negotiation Skills/tactful approach Fluent business English

Fixed - term Contract; Full-Time National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL): Metalmeccanici Privati Minimum Gross Annual Salary: € 30.000
