Job Summary
Bell Beyond is looking for one confident, energetic English-speaking EFL teacher / performer / workshop facilitator to join our international team for a 4-week teacher-training tour across Italy.
Due to a last-minute change within our original team, we are recruiting at short notice and are ready to interview suitable candidates immediately.
This is not a traditional classroom teaching position. You will travel across Italy with our team, delivering fun, highly interactive English-language workshops to groups of Italian teachers.
Activities include English games, drama, storytelling, songs, movement, theatre activities, demonstrations and practical teaching techniques.
You do not need to design lessons or prepare your own materials. All scripts, activities, presentations and workshop materials are fully provided by Bell Beyond.
The successful candidate will work alongside another English-speaking facilitator/performer and two Italian Bell Beyond team members.
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in EFL teaching, public speaking, drama, acting, presenting, TIE, workshops or educational entertainment.
Above all, we need someone who is extremely confident, charismatic and comfortable engaging a large audience.
WORKING HOURS
Workshops generally take place Monday to Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings.
There are only approximately 3.5 hours of actual workshop work per day.
The remaining time is available for travelling between locations, preparation and free time.
DATES PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Candidates must be available for the entire project:
- 22-23 September 2026: Arrival in Italy
- 24-25 September: Mandatory preparation and rehearsals
- 28 September24 October: 4-week Workshop Tour
You must be able to arrive in Italy no later than 23 September.
The tour dates are fixed and cannot be changed.
SALARY / COMPENSATION
350 per week 4 weeks = 1,400
In addition, Bell Beyond provides:
- Accommodation fully provided from arrival in Italy until departure at the end of the project.
- Accommodation will be in a shared room with the other male English-speaking performer/facilitator.
- Breakfast is generally included.
- 25 food allowance per day during the tour. With breakfast generally included, this is normally sufficient to cover food for the remainder of the day in Italy.
- All transportation within Italy is fully provided.
- No driving required.
FLIGHT CONTRIBUTION
Because we are recruiting at very short notice, we are offering an increased contribution towards travel costs:
- Candidates travelling from the UK/EU: up to 200 towards return flights.
- Candidates travelling from the USA: up to 350 towards return flights.
The exact contribution will depend on the actual cost of the flight.
REQUIREMENTS
Essential:
- Excellent/native-level English.
- Full availability from 22/23 September to 24 October 2026.
- Very confident speaking and performing in front of groups.
- Energetic, engaging and outgoing personality.
- Comfortable travelling extensively as part of a small team.
- Able to share accommodation with another male team member.
Preferred but not essential:
- EFL/TEFL teaching experience.
- Experience working with children.
- Acting, drama or theatre experience.
- Public-speaking/presenting experience.
- Workshop facilitation or TIE experience.
- A TEFL qualification is an advantage, but personality, confidence and audience-engagement skills are particularly important for this role.

Salary and Benefits
€350 / week (net)
