Role Profile
Key Accountabilities
As part of the Business Development Team:
- Conducting the preparation of business cases and financial analysis of any opportunity that arises within the territory
- Preparing all the support documents and analysis required to obtain internal approvals
- Leading and supporting tender response documents
- Maximising the new business contribution to EBITDA growth
- Coordinate with the Company’s main stakeholders, including HQ and Business Units the submission of tenders or negotiations for the company to grow and defend the current portfolio, including any potential new channel business model.
- Prepare and develop with the Business Development Director the approach and proposals for special tenders.
- Establish contacts with Business Partners to maximize further and sustained business growth.
People:
- Support the management and development of the ‘Business Development Community’ to drive results across the group.
- Work with all of the Business Community Leads to make sure that all areas of the business have contributed to business efficiencies in the Project Process; use internal expert knowledge when required.
Finance:
- Work closely with the Finance team to maximize the accuracy of data being submitted for projects.
Operations:
- Coordination of the project process; involving all key stakeholders from Operations and other stakeholders to maximize the best results, defining project plan and time scales for completion.
- Ensure guidelines defined are followed in the projects.
- Continual improvement of ‘Business Development’ policies and processes to increase efficiencies.
- Work with external agencies to supervise the formal documentation for all Business Projects, Tenders and Proposals.
- Analyze all key data to support decision making process.
- Complete studies of the markets to support BD Director in decision making.
- Preparing executive presentations
Person Profile
Experience and Specific Requirements Key Relationships
- Master’s Degree or equivalent,
- 5 years of proven experience within a complex global retail organization or management consultancy company with experience in an accounting / financial role,
- Detailed understanding of Financial P&Ls, Balance Sheets and Modelling,
- Exposure to managing complex relationships within a tough business sector. Development of Business models.
- Knowledge of F&B and retail markets and business analytical skills.
