Overview
In this role you will design electrical systems for industrial plants, special systems, and testing machinery, ensuring compliant and reliable deliverables. You will work with cross-functional teams to produce technical documents, diagrams, and layout drawings that support AVL’s engineering projects. You will size systems, perform calculations, and contribute to cost estimates and tender documentation. This position offers the opportunity to influence the electrical design for engine and vehicle testing applications within a globally respected mobility technology company.

Responsabilità
- Electrical design of industrial plants, special systems, and machinery for testing systems
- Prepare technical design reports
- Draft technical specifications and tender documentation
- Prepare cost estimates and bills of quantities
- Develop single-line electrical diagrams
- Create plant layouts and installation drawings
- Execute electrical calculations and system sizing
- Perform lighting calculations
- Ensure compliance with applicable technical and safety standards and regulations
Requisiti fondamentali
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Technical Diploma in Electrotechnics
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the design of industrial electrical systems
- Good command of English, both written and spoken (minimum B1 level)
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of the main regulations and standards related to electrical systems, safety, and applicable Directives (Low Voltage, EMC, Machinery, and ATEX)
- Availability for short business trips within Italy and, occasionally, abroad
