Overview
As Principal Solution Consultant, you will drive value for manufacturing customers by translating business needs into AspenTech solutions. You’ll work closely with the sales team and clients to define value, shape project scope, and articulate compelling business cases. This role sits at the intersection of technology, industry knowledge, and customer relationships, enabling impactful improvements in supply chain and operations. You will lead engagements, guide demonstrations, and contribute to a scalable consulting approach that accelerates adoption of AspenTech offerings. This is a chance to influence outcomes for major process industries while growing with a global, collaborative team.

Responsabilità
- Act as trusted advisor to identify customer pains and articulate business and operational issues
- Demonstrate Manufacturing Supply Chain solutions and communicate their value and process improvements
- Partner with account teams to define strategy and maximize AspenTech solution usage and growth
- Develop and refine solution messaging and create materials to drive client action
- Lead or participate in customer consulting engagements including demos, workshops, value assessments, and seminars
- Support pipeline development and sales execution for assigned accounts
- Prepare commercial proposals and respond to RFIs/RFPs
- Meet personal productivity, bookings, and related targets
Requisiti fondamentali
- B.S. in Engineering with 8–10 years of experience in consulting, technology, or industry
- 5–7 years in Manufacturing Supply Chain roles (planning, scheduling, blending)
- Strong business acumen and ability to interview customers, identify improvements, and handle change resistance
- Ability to articulate customer value creation
- Passion for cutting-edge technologies and continuous learning
- Team player with strong relationship-building skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Experience in Refinery, Petrochemical, or Chemical industries; familiarity with AspenTech tools
