Overview
As Safety Engineer at Applied Materials, you will drive EHS programs across R&D and manufacturing to ensure compliance and continuous improvement. You will partner with site leaders and cross-functional teams to manage regulatory obligations and incidents. You will lead training, investigations, and risk mitigation efforts to protect people and the environment. Responsabilità
- Drive Environmental, Health and Safety programs and regulatory compliance
- Act as liaison with local and national regulatory authorities
- Lead EHS training for employees and management
- Investigate EHS incidents and drive corrective actions to closure
- Provide project updates to management and maintain cross-functional communications
- Manage consultants/contractors, including scope, budgeting, and performance
- Ensure work is assigned and results are validated
- Collaborate with site management and cross-functional teams to achieve objectives
Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor or Master in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics Engineering; RSPP certification
- Min 5 years in an EHS role in R&D/manufacturing
- Knowledge of Italian EHS legislation and auditing
- Experience with EHS auditing and recommending corrective actions
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint
- Italian and English fluency
- Willingness to travel occasionally
