Regional Procurement Manager, Global Procurement Organization

Stellen-ID: 10500096 | Amazon Italia Transport Srl - E54

We are currently seeking a Regional Procurement Manager to lead and manage a team of geographically dispersed Procurement Managers across Italy and France, supporting the Amazon Logistics (AMZL) and Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) business units. This individual will lead their team to provide meaningful indirect procurement solutions and deliver against key performance indicators, contributing to regional procurement and local operational goals across two countries. They will integrate with key site, regional, and cross-country operational and support leaders, driving procurement contributions at scale.

Location: Italy — flexible across alternative locations between Rome and Milan.

The applicable collective agreement for this role is CBA for employees of Logistics, Delivery and Shipping Sector. The position is classified at level Quadro or above, depending on the candidate’s skills, competences and experience.

Key job responsibilities

The Regional Procurement Manager will hire, develop, and lead a team of Procurement Managers across Italy and France, building a team able to deliver procurement solutions and scale with network demands on a long-term planning horizon. They will set the procurement strategy and priorities across the AMZL and ATS business units in both countries, ensuring alignment with regional and local operational goals, and lead the team to develop and manage a dependable, cost-effective, and high-performing supply chain for locally managed goods and services across multiple sites and countries. A core part of the role is ensuring network-wide standardization for all procurement-related processes and operations location service activities across the Italy–France perimeter, while partnering with internal customers and cross-country stakeholders to positively influence spending decisions. The role leads complex, multi-country sourcing engagements and RFXs where appropriate, analyzes opportunities to leverage and rationalize the supply base using smart analytical tools and techniques, and implements supplier agreements and contracts with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers. They will also participate in start‑up teams for new local buildings — securing long lead‑time capital purchases and establishing multi‑year contracts — drive 100% compliance with policies and procedures together with operations partners, and drive the elimination of 'waste' within procurement processes to define best and standardized practice across the network.
