Key Responsibilities
- Drive new site designs and legacy site upgrade designs from planning to execution, including automation integration.
- Lead and drive technology integration and standardization in EU-wide programs and products, owning all layout integrations and optimizations in the assigned Delivery Stations.
- Contribute to network standardization via best practice sharing with EU counterparts.
- Provide process expertise on engineering design defining material flow, conveyor positioning, equipment requirements and real estate implications from process requirements.
- Lead strategic initiatives and identify project opportunities to improve the processes and station designs, engaging and influencing key stakeholders.
- A Day in the Life
Successful candidates will lead end-to-end design for new delivery stations and work to improve existing delivery station processes.
They will collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including operations, design and construction, launch and expansion, and safety teams.
They will produce best-in-class layouts for new launches, optimize existing stations, and present to leadership for approval.
They will manage automation programs to integrate new technologies into legacy stations and lead projects to create mechanisms that improve stations and deliver innovative solutions to complex design challenges.
About the Team
Our team partners closely with AMZL Operations and support functions to identify, design, and develop best-in-class process infrastructure and layouts, and to deliver them as EU AMZL network standards.

Salary and Benefits
Italy – €50,600 gross annually (full-time).
Salary may be higher depending on skill level.
The position may include a sign‑on payment and participation in a restricted stock unit scheme operated by Amazon. com Inc. in the USA.

- Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Experience in manufacturing, process, or industrial engineering.
- Knowledge of project management tools.
- Experience in planning, scheduling, and auditing maintenance activities.
- Experience with Six Sigma and lean manufacturing.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Intermediate knowledge of SQL.
- Experience working with and managing third‑party vendors.
- MBA or master’s degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field.
- Experience with data analysis, including advanced Excel and database analysis.
- Experience using CAD technologies such as Auto CAD, Rhino, Revit, Solid Works, CREO, BIM360, Sketch Up, or Key Shot.
