Overview
As a VV&T Engineer at Alstom, you verify and validate Train Control Management System functions and sub-systems on project scopes. You prepare and deliver verification tools, test environments, and TCMS test procedures to support validation campaigns. You manage test deliverables, reports, and coverage matrices, while handling configuration and change requests. You work with cross-functional teams to ensure robust validation on trains and test-benches, contributing to greener, smarter mobility.
Responsabilità
- Deliver verification and test tools for validation campaigns
- Set up verification and test environments (including MIL subsystems)
- Create TCMS verification and test procedures for functions/sub-systems
- Perform TCMS verification and tests on test-benches and trains
- Deliver TCMS verification & test reports for functions/sub-systems
- Provide TCMS coverage matrix for functions/sub-systems
- Configuration management of verification/test deliverables
- Manage validation status of change requests and ensure up-to-date status in CR database
- Handle NOK results in test reports related to CR
Requisiti fondamentali
- Experience on train validation
- Knowledge of validation methods (boundary tests, equivalent class tests)
- Knowledge of validation tools (TestStand, model-based testing tools)
- Knowledge of validation means (testbenches, simulators)
- Proficiency with model-based development tools like Matlab/Simulink, Control Build in Railway
- Knowledge of network protocols MVB, WTB, TRDP
- Knowledge of train electrical schematics
- Testing and commissioning experience is a plus
- Customer technical interface is a plus
