Overview
In this role, you will lead site-level Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) efforts to protect people and the environment. You’ll drive the EHS policy in alignment with regional guidelines and company objectives, coaching operations to meet targets. You’ll develop the local EHS plan, manage risk assessments, and ensure contractor EHS controls. The position combines leadership of EHS culture, compliance, and continuous improvement to support safe, sustainable site operations.
Responsabilità
- Support Site Management in achieving EHS results
- Drive implementation of EHS policy on site per guidelines and targets
- Advise, coach and support operational management in EHS actions
- Prepare local yearly EHS plan aligned with Transport strategy
- Mobilize and coordinate to deploy and monitor the plan
- Ensure EHS Risk Assessments are performed and controls defined
- Prepare, implement and maintain emergency plans at site level
- Manage sub-contractor EHS activities and interfaces
- Have authority to stop activities posing immediate high risk
- Lead the EHS function at the site and develop teams
- Conduct inductions for new hires and engage social/medical partners
- Develop Site EHS Management System and local procedures/tools
- Ensure deployment of AZDP, TOP_E, and Transport Key processes at site
- Support EHS Manager to align local procedures with ISO standards (ISO14001, ISO45001)
- Monitor compliance with statutory/regulatory requirements and document records
- Develop EHS culture and drive continuous improvement
- Support EHS communication plan and implement training with HR
Requisiti fondamentali
- 5–8 years of professional EHS experience (site/manufacturing preferred)
- ~3 years in Environment, Health & Safety
- Good knowledge of ISO14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO45001
- Strong understanding of local legal requirements
- Experience in railway context is a plus
- Location: Sesto San Giovanni (Italy)
- Range RAL: 45,700–60,900
