Overview
You lead the development of TC&IS deliverables for a train project, from offer through warranty. You work within a cross-functional team to ensure quality, validation, and timely delivery of electrical and software outputs. You define architectures, manage interfaces, and drive design-for-quality throughout the lifecycle. You will contribute to complex rail systems, leveraging MBSE and model-based design to meet customer requirements and safety standards. This is a globally impactful role within a company focused on sustainable mobility solutions.
Responsabilità
- Validate the TC&IS Development, Configuration, Validation and Management Plan
- Ensure software quality requirements are met across System Engineering and TCMS Software Quality Plan
- Maintain quality across all domains (Schematic, Apparatus, Software) and manage Design/Verification reviews
- Deliver TC&IS engineering outputs (RSADs, Software specs, FDD, Electrical Schemes, product definitions)
- Coordinate sub-system interfaces (electrical components, PACIS, CCTV, TCMS, Event recorder, Train Ground Communication, ATC/Safety)
- Support Industrial/Manufacturing during First Train Assembly and Commissioning/Validation during tests
- Lead functional management of TC&IS resources on the project
- Define TCMS configuration with relevant engineers and project team
- Capture and share lessons learned to improve TC&IS development techniques
Requisiti fondamentali
- Rolling stock functional engineering experience on several train functions
- Hands-on electrical and schematic design activity
- Experience with model-based control systems using tools like Control Build, Matlab/Simulink, Matrix
- Knowledge of Serial, Ethernet, MVB, and other industrial networks
- Experience with TCMS LORE Platform (NTV/ETR/PKP Trains) is a plus
