Overview
In this Bid Manager role you work within the Business Development & Tendering Department to deliver high-quality, competitive tenders that leverage Alstom’s global capabilities. You will manage tender budgets, craft customer-focused solutions at winning price points, and ensure timely, compliant submissions. You’ll coordinate with cross-functional teams and governance processes to support RS business growth and tender success. This position offers impact across large-scale rail projects, with visibility to leadership and a clear path to delivering profitable bids.
Responsabilità
- Manage tender budgets and cost control
- Develop customer-focused solutions at winning price points
- Ensure margin commitments are realized
- Deliver high-quality, deliverable tender submissions
- Implement opportunity capture plans and win strategies
- Deliver tenders within scope, QCD commitments, and timelines
- Coordinate with Bid Director, resource owners, and proposals team to produce binding submissions
- Ensure governance per Alstom's Global & Local processes
Requisiti fondamentali
- Bid management experience in large-scale, technically complex tenders
- Project management experience
- Knowledge of financial processes
- Bid writing experience
- Strong numerical and communication skills
- Proficiency with Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Experience presenting to business leaders and customers
- CRM software knowledge (e.g., Salesforce)
- Understanding of commercial contracts used in signalling, systems & infrastructure projects
