We are looking for a DPF Calibration Engineer who will support engine development and calibration activities, with a specific focus on Diesel Particulate Filter and aftertreatment systems.
Main activities:
- Prepare and verify engine instrumentation and support engine installation on test benches.
- Define and execute engine and DPF calibration tests according to established methodologies.
- Analyze experimental data and identify calibration improvements.
- Support the development and validation of DPF soot accumulation and regeneration strategies.
- Investigate DPF pressure drop, soot loading, regeneration performance and oil dilution.
- Prepare technical reports and present test results to internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate activities with internal teams and external test facilities.
- Support, when required, the autonomous operation of HIL, Hydraulic Rig and PUMA test systems.
Technical skills:
- Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Automotive Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in DPF calibration.
- Good knowledge of Diesel combustion, engine calibration and aftertreatment systems.
- Knowledge of DPF soot accumulation/burning models, regeneration and oil dilution.
- Experience with INCA, Concerto, indicating systems and MATLAB/Simulink.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
