Overview
In this Automation Tester role, you drive automated testing for Abbott’s informatics products within the AlinIQ Product R&D group. You will design, develop, and execute tests across server, web, and cloud environments, ensuring regulatory compliance and high quality. You collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile setup to build automation tools and test scripts that enable continuous testing. Your work helps identify integration risks and provides clear, actionable results to developers and stakeholders. Responsabilità
- Design, develop, and execute automated test plans for server, web, and cloud informatics products in cross-functional teams
- Develop and execute both black- and white-box testing across containerized and networked components
- Script and automate test cases for test-driven development and continuous testing
- Assess architecture, hosting, and dependencies to identify integration risks before creating tests
- Conduct peer automation reviews, define testing criteria, analyze results, and present findings to developers and stakeholders
- Perform test-case analysis focusing on coverage, boundaries, and regression
- Provide regulatory, security, and privacy-compliant testing documentation for various test types
- Advise systems developers on testing procedures, schedules, and potential issues
- Carry out fault isolation, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis during system integration
Requisiti fondamentali
- Minimum 2 years of software development or test automation experience
- Understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies
- Experience managing requirements and test cases
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
- Proficiency in SQL or another RDBMS
- Fluent in English
